Collage Box
Ages 6 & up
Supplies Needed:
- Box (Cardboard shaped boxes can be found at most hobby stores or you can use a box jewelry comes in)
- Magazines to cut
- Glue
- Mod Podge (optional - image and info below)
- Scissors
- Adult supervision for use of scissors

Go throught the magazines and tear out pieces that look interesting to you. You can choose a certain color or you can use lots of colors. |
| Place glue on one side of the box. |

Use your finger to spread the glue. |
Place several pieces of magazine paper on the glue to completely cover the area. Overlapping is okay. |

You will now have several pieces of paper hanging off the edge. |
Use the scissors to cut along the edge of the box. This is where young kids may have trouble. Be sure to watch them closely. |

Now repeat the same steps on the sides. |
On larger spaces you may have to use more pieces of paper. |

Again cut off the paper sticking off past the edge. |
Be sure to cover the entire box. |

Mod Podge can be found on the glue isle of most art and craft or hobby store. You can get gloss or matte finish. If you do not have this or do not want to purchase it, you can use glue. It will not be as shiny or durable, but it will work just fine. |
Put Mod Podge or glue on top of the glued down magazine pieces. |

Again you can use your finger to spread it. It will look cloudy until it is dry so don't be worried. |
